As the dedicated allied health team at Summitcare Baulkham Hills our team were on-site during the COVID-19 outbreak working closely NSW health and the homes management team to ensure all residents received daily care.
The response team consisted of five allied health clinicians who stayed on site during the period to provide daily support to residents. This meant each clinician had a dedicated neighbourhood and followed strict protocols to avoid the spread of infection.
Prior to this event all our staff were up to date with vaccinations and had completed COVID educational modules and completed comprehensive training with PPE.
